As a lawyer, Kara Crawford knows how to keep a secret, especially after being spurned by an ex for revealing her sexual needs. Kara doesn’t expect to find anyone who can fulfill her more extreme desires—bondage and spanking–until she experiences one of the most incredible nights of her life with a man she’s always admired from afar.p>

…can set you free…

Sexual dominant Dante De Matteo knew Kara back in high school, and he never imagined her darkest fantasies would align so perfectly with his. The lovers don’t expect their passion to last more than a night, but when Dante’s new job turns out to be at Kara’s law firm, they find themselves confronted daily with the sparks of their blistering chemistry.p>

…but only if you give yourself completely.

As intense desire draws them closer, deep-rooted fears threaten to pull them apart—unless they can learn to embrace both the pain and pleasure of love.

Review: We all have sexual fantasies but can we really be honest with our significant others about what we want sexually without being judged? Kara Crawford has just been thru a bad break-up because she did just that. She told her boyfriend what she wanted to experience sexually and he flat out called her sick and disturbed. Kara never wanted to experience humiliation like that again. Dante De Matteo loves to play dominant games and when he sees Kara all grown-up at a mutual friend's party he decides he has to explore her body and see if she is up for his sexual games. Will Kara finally be able to give in to her desires without it breaking her heart as well?

This book was absolutely wonderful. The interactions between Kara and Dante were always intense, even without the BDSM play. It was a perfect example of what happens when you let go and really talk to your significant other about the things you want. Kara finally gets the chance to explore the BDSM play and realizes this is what she has been longing for. When she comes to work after a long weekend with him, she sees he is now also a partner in the same firm she works at, she tries to keep it professional but Dante won't have it. A perfect example of how the submissive is always in control and how a dom treats his submissive. Eve Berlin unquestionably knows how capture the essence and the beauty of this type sexual play. The hero and heroine of this book do have issues that stem back from their childhood and plays a major role about how they view relationships now. I love the fact this story is one that can really happen between two people, when two people finally break down their walls and give love another chance and get their happy ever after.

Fave line from book: "She hated that being female too often meant the reaction to anger was tears. It made her feel weak". (this is so true especially with me lol)

I am not in to bondage but the idea of being more expressive is welcome. Good review!
