I've been reading this book and it's not to see someone has gone through and not just preaching like many do. We struggle constantly and its gotten much worse with the economy mess. This book gives me hope that I can survive this mess and come out the other side okay.

Knowing that there is information available for improving finances and not taking advantage of it, is like….... jumping into the river knowing you can't swim.

I got married 3 months before starting law school. My husband and I were 25 and each had some credit cards but with 2 incomes it was manageable. Suddenly we were down to one income where he was paid only once/month. That was a very hard adjustment. Add in a couple of transmitions for his car and we racked up quite a debt those 3 years.

I'd be interested in reading this. Living in a high cost region, we never eat out or do activities that cost money, yet still struggle to get basic needs met. I'm leaning toward the realization that we don't make enough money to live here.
