I have read some of the books that you have written as Tori St. Claire and I loved them. I don't know what I would do, I am usually a pretty relaxed person on the outside, I think that I would do what I could to protect my family.

Like many of commenters, I would be freaked out and scared, butonce I calmed down and realized that there was nothing I could do to change this fate, then I would try to accept it and spend the rest of my time preparing and, hopefully, saving the ones I love by my sacrifice. Hah! I doubt I could be so noble.

If an archangel talked to me, my first reaction would be to panic like they did in the Bible.

My second reaction would probably be to do exactly what I was told since an angel's request wouldn't go against my moral code. It would be the toughest thing to do though and I'm not 100% sure of my faith in myself to do it. (-;

I would really have to know what I was going to gain from my sacrifice or is someone I love going to gain something. As a mother I have made many small sacrifices but nothing of the magnitude you suggest with your question. At this stage of my life I probably would give it all up if my children or grandchildren would benefit in a meaningful way.

My life has been pretty chaotic and everyone sacrifices but I think to be told that you have to give up everything would be devastating. I guess my next step would be thinking why me and what am I sacrificing all of this for?

I agree with Victoria. I think I'd freak out for a while. When you say "sacrificing everything you knew", would that include my life? I guess, if it was for the greater good, I eventually wouldn't have a problem. I think if it would help my loved ones, i could deal with it.

Honestly I'd just freak. I wouldn't really know how to react. But when I think about it - if I'd be helping those that I loved right now, I'd be accepting.
