Romancing the Book: Schedule a Promo

Thank you for your interest in promotions at Romancing the Book.

Our calendar is booked through the end of March 2012.

Here are some things to think about when looking at the calendar:

Tuesdays & Thursdays are reserved for official book blog tours
Wednesdays are blocked off for special promotions and blog business.
Fridays are review days. No promos.
Saturdays are for YA authors

If you're contacting us about a date, please focus on available Sundays, Mondays or Saturdays (if you're a YA author). If you would like more information about our promotions or would like to get on our calendar, please email Jen at promo.bookblog@gmail.com. In your message, please let me know more about the book you're wanting to promote as well as give a couple possible dates from the calendar below.

We do not charge for our promotions, but we do offer you the option of donating to the site for our services (see the PayPal link in the side bar). And we also strongly encourage our guests to offer a contest to our readers during their promo.

Please note, this calendar is searchable by using the arrows to advance to future months.

Contest Small Print

Since we hold several contests each week on the blog, we have a few simple contest rules. So, here's the small print.

1. You can only win once a month. The two exceptions to this: a. If an author holds a "first to comment/answer" contest and b. If all the entries are from previous winners. I do check this as I have a spreadsheet with all winners. Winners will be chosen by Random.org and then will be verified against the spreadsheet.

2. All entries into the contests need to either include their email address in the comment OR after commenting, they need to email us at admin.bookblog@gmail.com and let us know to include them in the drawing. All comments where there is no email address or message in our inbox are not valid entries into the contests.

3. Please be sure to read the requirements for each contest. Some authors, publishers or whomever is offering up the contest prize, will place restrictions on the contest due to age appropriate content or shipping costs. Also, make sure you're entering the contest correctly. Sometimes a form will have to be filled out, a comment posted, a question answered... failure to follow instructions will make your attempted entry a void. We do ask that you please respect their wishes... after all, they don't HAVE to give away prizes.

4. All winners will be contacted via email and in that message, will be given a deadline by which to claim their prize (usually a week). If a book is unclaimed, we will either pick another winner from the comments or hold a flash contest.

5. Once we receive your contact information, it is passed along to whomever is sending the prize. We are not responsible for the delivery of the book as it is possible for books/prizes to be lost in the mail. However, I will follow up for you ONCE to ensure a prize has been mailed. Please email Jen at either admin.bookblog@gmail.com or promo.bookblog@gmail.com (preferably which ever email address I used to contact you) for that follow up.
