My name is Patty R from Bakersfield Ca, transplanted from West Virginia and what a big change for a country girl coming to California. I am a wife, Mom and grandma to the most awesome grandsons, Jaxon and Skylar, the real joy of being a grandma.. I love to do needlepoint, work in my herb and flower garden and play bunco.

But most of all I love to read. To get lost and carried away in a great story by a awesome author that can take me to a place of comfort and peace is a pleasure I want to have forever. I have a sony ereader and I love it, even thought I still love the feel and smell of a real book. I love reading series books like Robyn Carr’s Virgin River Series and Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove series. I enjoy romance, mysteries, cozy mysteries, and chick-lit. I love books that make me feel like I am part of the story, ones that you feel like you are friends with and the books that you wish would never end. I am now starting the series Savannah Reed by G A McKevitt whom I can very much relate too. Another shout out is it Meg Cabot the Heather Wells series and if you have not read this series please do so because it is hilarious. I also love to review the books I read.
